Xbox 360 wifi problems

I initially bought this because it can handle a lot of connections. All my devices can connect to the network, speeds are much better. The issue is my Xbox in my room. The connection randomly drops on both 2. Here are my settings for borh. The Xbox One works well. No disconnects.

The Xbox using the Wireless N adapter also connects. But the Xbox in my room is Feet away from the router and drops connection frequently. I've had it set to defaults and I thought it was the wireless adapter in the Xbox and replaced it.

Same issues. I have to reboot the Xbox and the Router. Resetting the Xbox alone doesn't work since it can't see my network.. I don't think it's the Xbox at fault since the one closest to the router works fine. But even with all those new technologies in this router, it has issues with older wireless N devices at any distance over 10 ft I hope there is a firmware update to address legacy devices.

So it must be an Intel issue. I might have to try an AX router with Qualcomm chip that has 5 cores I hope One Mesh support is added in a firmware update. Adding a mesh to my room may resolve my connection drops. I hope. I have used every troubleshoot that Xbox provided. I can stay online longer but the connection drops.

It will also tell you what type of error it is. Note this information, and then go to the Xbox Connection Error Solution to resolve the problem. If you experience poor streaming quality when using a video app on Xbox Live, the Xbox Streaming Quality Solution focuses on issues that can affect or interfere with connection speed. If your connection speed is affecting online gameplay or causing lag or other performance issues, the Xbox Slow Performance Solution addresses those kinds of connection issues.

Exploring these forums may help you resolve a problem that is specific to your setup. You can also share your experiences with other Xbox owners and find quick solutions to common problems. Please note that the forums are in English, so take advantage of Bing Translator if you need another language. Select your wireless network name, if you are prompted to do so. Select Configure Network. When you are prompted, select Yes, restore factory defaults.

Turn off your console. Turn on your console. Solution 2: Configure your wireless settings Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings , and then select System Settings. Enter your wireless password, if you are prompted for one, and then select Test Xbox Live Connection. If you still cannot connect, try the next solution.

On the Basic Settings tab, select Wireless Mode. Select Scan for Networks. Select your wireless network name. Enter your wireless network password, and then select Done. Solution 3: Restart your network equipment Turn off or unplug your Xbox console and network hardware for example, your modem and router.

Hence why they are high security. Also, stop linking to sites translated from German. The translations are terrible. And these flaming Sony Jock-riders are reaching for anything! Next they'll say the S wasn't packaged right. And dopn't forget to steal more bubbles! Thank You, for you cooperation. More people looking for reasons to hate , find another reason because it doesnt red ring, and the Wifi is fine. It's in the nature od sony fanbys to destroy anything good about other consoles.

The article is trash and the people doing the testing are dumb as a box of rocks. Agree if you have a , wii, ps3 and gaming pc and u don't care about all the fucking fanboy wars!
